Fourthly, special hazardous chemicals cannot be managed in a general manner. Highly toxic chemicals, explosive hazardous chemicals, precursor chemicals, monitored chemicals, and hazardous chemicals that constitute major hazard sources should be stored and managed separately according to regulations. Toxic chemicals and hazardous chemicals that constitute major hazard sources should also be subject to a dual person receiving and storage system.

Fifth, the stacking height and area cannot be exceeded. The stacking of hazardous chemicals should be neat, firm, and not inverted, and should not obstruct fire-fighting facilities, safety signs, and passages. Common compliance requirements include stack height control, single stack area control, and height restrictions for different packaging forms such as large boxes and cardboard boxes. Ultra high stacking not only increases the risk of collapse, but also amplifies the difficulty of disposal after leakage.

Sixth, channels and spacing cannot be occupied. There are clear control requirements for the main channel, wall spacing, column spacing, stack spacing, and lamp spacing. The temporary stacking of goods occupying the passage often leads to vehicle collisions, obstruction of personnel evacuation, and restricted firefighting disposal. In warehouse management, 'temporary storage' is often the starting point for risk loss control.

Seventh, shelves and pallets must not become unstable. When using shelves for storage, the goods should be placed on pallets and secured. Except for specific large packaging, hazardous chemicals are usually not suitable for direct contact with the ground. Measures such as cushioning, moisture-proof, and anti-corrosion should be taken according to the nature of the item. Corrosive and toxic products should pay special attention to the ground, skirting, anti-seepage, and moisture-proof conditions.

Eighth, ventilation and alarm cannot be ignored. Storage rooms that may emit flammable or toxic gases should be equipped with corresponding detection and alarm devices, and ensure that alarm signals are effectively transmitted to manned areas. Ventilation facilities, alarms, and interlocking devices should be regularly inspected and maintained to avoid the formation of a false safety state of "equipment but no function".
