Ninth, explosion-proof electrical and anti-static measures must not be overlooked. Electrical devices, forklifts, communication tools, and work equipment in explosive hazardous environments shall comply with explosion-proof requirements. GB 12158-2024 has been implemented on January 1, 2026, and requires grounding, human electrostatic protection, and management measures for electrostatic hazardous areas. Before personnel enter the relevant area, measures such as anti-static clothing and electrostatic discharge should be implemented.
Tenth, loading and unloading should not be carried out in a barbaric manner. Dangerous chemicals should be handled with care during loading and unloading, and should not be dragged, rolled, bumped, rubbed, thrown, or squeezed. The handling of flammable and explosive hazardous chemicals should use explosion-proof equipment that meets the requirements. Loading and unloading operations in adverse weather conditions can increase the risk of packaging damage, personnel misoperation, and leakage and spread, and should be strictly controlled.
Eleventh, the boundary of homework in the warehouse cannot be exceeded. No barrel opening, packaging, modification or other operations should be carried out in the hazardous chemical storage warehouse. A warehouse is a storage location, not a temporary packaging workshop. Any change in packaging status, increase in exposed area, or release of vapor or dust may alter the existing risk conditions.
Twelfth, the information system cannot be disconnected from the site. GB 15603-2022 requires the establishment of a hazardous chemical storage information management system, which records information such as inbound and outbound inventory, inventory quantity, distribution within the warehouse, packaging form, prohibited storage, and emergency measures. Truly effective informatization should be able to answer three questions in the early stages of an accident: what is inside the warehouse, where it is located, and how it should be handled.
The safety of hazardous chemical warehouses is not a static result formed by one acceptance, but a dynamic order composed of every incoming inspection, every stacking adjustment, and every patrol maintenance. Neglecting details will leave standards stuck on the wall of regulations; Guarding details is the foundation for sustained safety in the warehouse.
