Do the chemicals you use count as "hazardous chemicals"?

Many times, the chemicals we use are not pure substances but mixtures. How can we determine if a mixture is not listed in the directory? This is where the "70% Rule" comes in! According to the "Implementation Guidelines (Trial) for the Hazardous Chemicals Directory (2015 Edition)", for mixtures whose main components are all hazardous chemicals listed in the Directory, and whose total mass or volume ratio of main components is not less than 70%, they can be directly regarded as hazardous chemicals and managed accordingly.

After being evaluated by a professional institution, chemicals will be classified into three major hazard categories based on the "Chemical Classification and Labeling Standards" (GB 30000 series standards) derived from the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS):
Physicochemical hazards: such as explosives, flammable gases, spontaneously combustible liquids, metal corrosives, etc;
Health hazards: such as acute toxicity (oral/dermal/inhalation), skin corrosion/irritation, carcinogenicity, etc;
Environmental hazards: such as hazards to the aquatic environment.
After identification and classification, if the chemicals fall under the criteria for hazardous chemicals, the enterprise must also register them as hazardous chemicals and implement various safety precautions.
Hazardous chemical identification is not mysterious. Identify the "directory", calculate the "70% proportion", check the "flash point ≤60℃ (item 2828)", and finally use "hazard identification" as a backup. Master these four dimensions, and you can become the most authoritative chemical "judge" in the factory!
