III. Loading, unloading, handling, and stacking
1. Loading, unloading, and handling
①. Operations should be conducted in accordance with the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and handling requirements.
②. Handle with care and avoid dragging, rolling, impacting, rubbing, throwing, squeezing, etc.
③ Explosion-proof forklifts should be used for handling, loading, and unloading explosives and other hazardous chemicals that are prone to combustion and explosion.
④ The loading, unloading, and handling of gas cylinders should comply with the relevant provisions of GB/T 34525.
2. Stacking
① Hazardous chemicals should be neatly and securely stacked without being inverted; they should not block fire-fighting equipment, safety facilities, safety signs, or passageways.
②. Except for steel drums and gas cylinders of 200L or above, other packaged hazardous chemicals should not be in direct contact with the ground, and the height of the cushion should not be less than 10cm.
③. Stacking should comply with packaging label requirements; for hazardous chemicals without stacking labels, the stacking height should not exceed 3 meters (excluding the height of pallets, etc.).
④ When storing on shelves, items should be placed on pallets and secured with appropriate measures.
⑤. The spacing between stacks in the warehouse should meet the following requirements:
(a) The main aisle is greater than or equal to 200 cm;
(b) The wall distance is greater than or equal to 50 cm;
(c) The column spacing is greater than or equal to 30 cm;
(d) The stacking distance should be greater than or equal to 100 cm (the area of each stack should not exceed 150 m2);
(e) The distance between lamps is greater than or equal to 50 cm.
